Dellmen Hecht, DDS

Dr. Hecht has been in practice for over 30 years.  He received his D.D.S. from Temple University.  After a two year Army stint where he practiced general dentistry, Dr. Hecht continued his dental education at New York University where he specialized in Periodontics.  Some years later, he sought training in the placement of dental implants with Dr. Hilt Tatum; an early pioneer in the development of this discipline.

At various times, Dr. Hecht has been on staff at Columbia University School of Dentistry, Beth Israel Hospital, Gouverneur Hospital, Jamaica Hospital, St. Johns Hospital and Bronx Lebanon Hospital.  In addition, he has attended more than 500 hours of continuing education classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care.  He has lectured to dentists, dental students, school children and to the general public and he has volunteered his time for the local dental society.  Dr. Hecht is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, New York State Dental Society and the New York County Dental Society.
